Subscription music on ISP level

Telia and TDC, the two biggest Danish Internet Service Providers, are battling for customers with add ons. One of the more significant, is access to a huge back catalog of music. One boasts 6 mio the other 6,5 mio… and they are growing constantly.
The subscription includes streaming functionality, DRM downloads and access to album covers, top lists and what not.
Since Denmark doesn’t have label arrangements for services like Spotify, this is as good as it gets at the moment. Wast amounts of people are now hogtied to the internet subscription with TDC, because the music is included. Suddenly the have thousands of singles, albums and playlists that need to connect for the ISPs DRM servers at least every fortnight in order to continue working.
Oh, what bliss. From one gigantic arse to another.
