Subscription is coming

… make it cheap.

Since it still is the four majors that carry almost all music, they should have introduced dirt cheap subscription years ago. They would have made the same money - and they would have carved way through to keeping their position for years to come.

Now it is coming. (Maybe) Sooner than one might think.

Since it’s Apple and, let’s just say, the four majors, they might actually be able to blunder it big time. No matter what, it’ll be fun to follow subscription services taking form in 2008.

Let’s hope it’s not just a rights holder vs ISP discussion we’ll see… this will certainly piss off music consumers to a degree, where the music industry implodes even more.
