Digg forgot to turn on their toolspage and stuff
Digg went down for a reboot late last night. Came up fine after the update… but now - some 15-16 hours later, one is still not able to access the Digg tools.
Busy doing everything else than keeping updated on the audio front, LostAudio wanted do push some Digg music stories onto the site yesterday. Managed to get through - but before ripping the needed code (wasting time on their widgets color picker), they went down for the update.
Digg’s been working all day - but no tools. Sure would be fun if they simply forgot to switch that part of the backend on. Anyway, nothing else but to peruse the great sampleswap archive and make a manual submission.
The real point of this … if there is one, would be how much people hate these: down for a minute signs! For fuck sake … write it the way it is.
Update:
Up and running again. No doubt, not thanks to LostAudio.
But still a whoops, or two. Layout sucks. Mouseover makes text invisible. Digg count can’t be removed. Come on … we just want a widget.
