Business models – accept the markets terms

Hypebot has an interesting piece on Imeem.
Of course Imeem is in trouble. Just like all the other Music 2.0 and oldschool Web 1.0 conservative labels. The labels are strangling whatever pennies they can in order to pay premium bonuses to the boards before the nepotists finally jump.
You can only do so much assf*****. All thoose pretty boy artists, also need to dig up talent and motivation – because the get-rich-schemes and I-wanna-be-famous concept is going… gone.
You need to love music – otherwise get the truck out of the way.
More and more people are listening to more and more music. Go figure why the labels won’t do anything but sue their customers.
